Hawkdemy Terms of Use were last updated on September 6, 2025.
These terms are a binding contract between you and us, so please read them carefully. They contain important info about your legal rights and responsibilities.
Hawkdemy’s mission is to improve lives through learning. We allow anyone, anywhere to create and share educational courses (instructors) and to enroll in those courses to learn (students). To keep our platform safe for you, us, and our community, we need some rules. These Terms apply to everything you do on the Hawkdemy website and other related services (“Services”).
If you publish a course on Hawkdemy, you also have to agree to the Instructor Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data. All of these other policies are part of these Terms.
When you use our website, information about your browsing is sent to third-party companies that provide services to Hawkdemy. By using our Services, you agree to this.

1. Accounts
You’ll need an account for most things on our platform. Keep your password safe, because you are responsible for all activity on your account. If you think someone else is using your account, contact our Support Team. You must be old enough to consent to online services in your country to use Hawkdemy.
To buy a course or publish one, you need an account. You must provide accurate and complete information, including a valid email address. You are completely responsible for your account and anything that happens on it. This means you need to be careful with your password. You can’t transfer your account to someone else or use someone else’s account. If a user passes away, their account will be closed.
Don’t share your login details with anyone. You are responsible for what happens with your account, and Hawkdemy won’t get involved in disputes between people who have shared login information. Tell us immediately if you suspect someone is using your account without permission.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you’re younger but old enough to use online services where you live (for example, 13 in the US or 16 in Ireland), you can’t create an account yourself. Instead, ask a parent or guardian to open an account and help you enroll in appropriate courses. If we find out you’ve created an account that breaks these rules, we will close it.
You can close your account at any time. Check our Privacy Policy to see what happens to your data when you do.
2. Course Enrollment and Lifetime Access
When you enroll in a course, you’re getting a license from us to view it on the Hawkdemy platform—and that’s it. Don’t try to transfer or resell courses. We usually give you a lifetime access license, but we can take it away for legal or policy reasons.
When instructors publish a course, they give Hawkdemy permission to offer a license to students. This means when you enroll, you’re getting a license from Hawkdemy to view the course. The course is licensed, not sold, to you. This license doesn’t give you the right to resell the course in any way (including by sharing your account or illegally downloading and sharing it).
Simply put, Hawkdemy gives you (as a student) a limited, non-transferable license to watch the content you’ve paid for, only for your personal, non-commercial, educational use through our Services. All other uses are forbidden.
We generally provide lifetime access when you enroll in a course. However, we have the right to revoke this access at any time if we have to disable the course for legal or policy reasons (for example, due to a copyright complaint). This lifetime access applies to the course content itself but not to the instructor’s teaching assistance or Q&A services, which they can stop providing at any time.
Instructors are not allowed to grant licenses for their courses directly to students.
3. Payments, Credits, and Refunds
When you make a payment, you agree to use a valid payment method.
3.1 Pricing
Course prices on Hawkdemy are set based on our Instructor Terms and Promotions Policy. We sometimes run sales, and the price you pay is the price at the time of your purchase. The price you see might also be different depending on whether you’re logged in, as some promotions are for new users only. The currency you see is based on your location. If you live in a country with sales tax, we will collect and pay that tax, so the price you see may include it.
3.2 Payments
You agree to pay for the courses you buy and allow us to charge your credit/debit card or use another payment method. We work with payment partners to offer you convenient payment options and to keep your information secure.
When you buy something, you agree not to use an invalid or unauthorized payment method. We can disable access to any course for which we haven’t received payment.
3.3 Gift and Promotional Codes
Hawkdemy or our partners may offer gift and promotional codes. These codes might give you credits that can be used to buy courses. These codes and credits may expire and cannot be exchanged for cash unless required by law.
4. Content and Behavior Rules
You can only use Hawkdemy for legal purposes. You are responsible for all the content you post on our platform. Your reviews, questions, courses, and other posts must follow our Trust & Safety Guidelines and the law. We can ban your account for serious or repeated offenses. If you believe someone is infringing on your copyright, let us know.
You may not use our Services for illegal purposes. You are responsible for knowing and following the laws that apply to you.
- As a student, you can ask questions and post reviews. Don’t post or submit anything that doesn’t belong to you.
- As an instructor, you must follow the law and respect the rights of others. You are fully responsible for the courses and content you post.
If we’re notified that your course or content breaks the law or violates our guidelines (for example, if it infringes on someone’s copyright), we may remove it from our platform. We can also ban your account at any time, for any reason, including failure to pay fees, suspected illegal activity, or long periods of inactivity.
5. Hawkdemy’s Rights to Content You Post
You still own the content you post on our platform, like your courses. However, by posting it, you give us permission to share it with anyone through any media, including promoting it through ads on other websites.
When you post comments, questions, reviews, or suggestions, you authorize Hawkdemy to use and share this content with anyone, distribute it, and promote it on any platform. In legal terms, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, publish, and distribute your content in any media. You also agree that we can do this with no payment to you.
6. Using Hawkdemy at Your Own Risk
Anyone can publish content on Hawkdemy. Like other platforms where people can post content, things can go wrong. You use Hawkdemy at your own risk.
We don’t review every course for legal issues or accuracy, so we don’t guarantee the reliability or truthfulness of the content. If you access a course, you are relying on the information provided by the instructor at your own risk. You may be exposed to content you find offensive. You assume all risks for the choices you make before, during, and after you access a course, especially for health and fitness content.
Be careful about the personal information you share when you interact directly with other students or instructors. For your safety, you shouldn’t share your email or other personal info. We are not responsible for what happens between instructors and students.
When using our Services, you may find links to other websites that we don’t own or control. We are not responsible for them.
7. Hawkdemy’s Rights
We own the Hawkdemy platform and Services. This includes our website, apps, logos, code, and content created by our employees. You can’t tamper with them or use them without our permission.
You may not do any of the following while using the Hawkdemy platform:
- Access or use non-public areas of the platform or our computer systems.
- Try to break or get around any of our security features.
- Copy, modify, or reverse engineer our platform or source code.
- Use robots, spiders, or other automated means to access our Services.
- Interfere with the access of any user, including by sending a virus or spamming.
8. Subscription Terms
This section applies if you use our subscription-based collections (“Subscription Plans”).
8.1 Subscription Plans
Your subscription gives you a license to view the content included in that plan. The terms in the “Course Enrollment and Lifetime Access” section apply, except you only have access for as long as your subscription is active. We can remove content from subscriptions at any time for legal or policy reasons.
8.2 Account Management
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Your access will end on the last day of your billing period. You will not receive a refund for any fees you’ve already paid unless required by law.
8.3 Payments and Billing
You must provide a payment method to subscribe. By subscribing, you allow us to charge the fee to your payment method on file. At the end of each term, your subscription will automatically renew for the same length, and we will charge you the current fee. If we can’t process your payment, we may suspend or cancel your subscription. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time after giving you notice.
8.4 Interactive Session Restrictions
When using interactive lab sessions, you may not use them for anything other than the lab’s intended purpose, engage in cryptocurrency mining, disrupt our services, or use any real personal data.
8.5 Subscription Disclaimers
We don’t make any promises about the availability of specific content in any Subscription Plan or guarantee a minimum amount of content. In the future, we might add or remove features from a Subscription Plan, or change or end a plan entirely. We are not responsible for saving or storing any content or work you create within a Subscription Plan.
9. Miscellaneous Legal Terms
These terms are a contract, and they include important legal details that clarify the relationship between you and us.
9.1 Binding Agreement
By registering for or using our Services, you agree that you are entering into a legally binding contract with Hawkdemy. If you don’t agree, don’t use our Services. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us. If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, the rest of the terms will still apply.
9.2 Disclaimers
Sometimes our platform might be down for maintenance or because of a technical problem. Sometimes, an instructor might make misleading statements. Security issues can also happen. You agree that you won’t hold us responsible in these types of cases where things don’t work perfectly. In legal terms, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We don’t make any promises about their reliability, security, or accuracy. Your use of the Services is entirely at your own risk.
9.3 Indemnification
If you do something that gets us into legal trouble, you agree to cover our legal costs. This means you will protect Hawkdemy from any claims or expenses arising from the content you post, your use of the Services, or your violation of these Terms.
9.4 Legal Actions and Notices
Any legal action related to this agreement must be brought within one year of the event happening. All official notices must be in writing and sent by mail or email.
9.5 Relationship Between Us
You and Hawkdemy are independent parties. This agreement does not create a partnership, employment, or agency relationship.
9.6 No Assignment
You may not transfer these Terms (or your rights under them) to anyone else. We may transfer our rights to another company without restriction.
10. Updating These Terms
From time to time, we may update these Terms to make our rules clearer or to add new features. Hawkdemy reserves the right to change these Terms at any time.
If we make a major change, we will notify you in a noticeable way, like by sending an email to the address listed in your account or by posting a notice on our Services. Changes will take effect on the day they are posted unless we state otherwise.
If you continue to use our Services after the changes are made, that means you accept the new terms. Any new version of the Terms will replace all previous versions.
